Author Guide
This page serves as a guide for authors wishing to submit a book or journal article to Nasirus Publications.
Submission Requirements
- All manuscripts may be in Turkish or English
- Book proposals are accepted for both monographs and edited volumes
- Journal articles should be 5,000–12,000 words
- Book chapters range 8,000–15,000 words; complete books minimum 40,000 words
Format Requirements
All texts may be submitted in Word (.docx) or LaTeX format. Consistency in headings, tables, figures and footnotes/endnotes is important. Revision requests during the publication process are natural and represent constructive contribution, not rejection.
Citation Style Compliance
Depending on the discipline at the outset, Chicago (Notes-Bibliography or Author-Date), APA 7th edition, or MLA 9 styles are preferred. If a preference is stated, Nasirus may adapt the style in consultation with the author.
Submission Services
All submissions go to [email protected] with a titled abstract (250 words), a brief author biography, and a sources declaration. Upon acceptance, all author-supplied materials are checked against a verification checklist.
Evaluation Timeline
Preliminary review: 10–15 days. Waiting for peer reports: 6–10 weeks. Revision and final decision: 8–12 weeks. These timelines reflect expectations; for urgent cases, contact [email protected].
