Manuscript Submission Guide
Account Registration and ORCID Linking
Before submitting, authors must create an account on the journal’s online management system (Open Journal Systems). Registration requires name, email, and institutional affiliation. Upon completion, link and verify your ORCID identifier; if you do not have one, create it free at orcid.org. ORCID linking improves attribution accuracy and ensures proper credit in research metrics.
Manuscript Upload and File Requirements
Upload your manuscript in .docx format (Microsoft Word 2007 or later). Two versions are required: (1) Blind Manuscript: Author name, institution, acknowledgments, and funding information removed; (2) Cover Letter: Brief statement of the work’s contribution to the field. Additionally, upload: (3) Copyright Transfer and License Agreement (provided by the journal, signed by all authors); (4) Ethics Approval Letter (if applicable for human or animal research, or sensitive data collection).
Similarity Check and Plagiarism Control
All submissions undergo Turnitin plagiarism detection. Excluding references and citations, the text similarity should not exceed 20 percent. Higher rates are reviewed; authors may be asked to revise. Use of AI-generated text or AI-assisted writing must be explicitly disclosed in the manuscript. Manuscripts found to contain unacknowledged AI-generated content or unauthorized AI assistance will be rejected.
Tracking Your Submission
After successful upload, monitor submission status in your author dashboard ("My Submissions"). Status progresses through: Submitted → Editorial Office Screening → Peer Review Assignment → Under Review → Decision Pending → Editorial Decision → Accepted. Email notifications are sent at each stage, though daily dashboard checks are recommended.
Revisions and Resubmission
If minor or major revisions are requested, prepare a detailed Response to Reviewers document addressing each comment, then upload the revised manuscript. All changes must be highlighted and cross-referenced in your response. Revised manuscripts undergo reassessment, typically within 4–6 weeks.
Proofs and Final Corrections
Following acceptance, authors receive page proofs (PDF) for final review. Authors may report typographical errors, numbering issues, and figure placement problems only; substantive content changes are not permitted at this stage.
Scholarly Publishing Since 1998
Nasirus Press has published scholarly and cultural work since 1998. At the centre of our list are peer-reviewed monographs, edited volumes and a journal issued twice a year. Every title is planned in print and digital editions together.
- Peer review: every submission passes at least two independent referees.
- Open access: our journal follows the diamond route — no author or reader fees.
- Persistent record: every publication is registered with an ISBN/DOI and preserved.
- Institutional access: consortium terms and ONIX metadata for libraries.
How We Publish
The path a manuscript takes from submission to the shelf is set out in advance, with a named owner and a typical duration for each stage.
- Initial screening (10 working days). The secretariat checks formal completeness, similarity score and fit with the list.
- Peer review (21 days). At least two independent referees report under double-blind conditions.
- Board decision. The editorial board weighs the reports together with the author's revision list.
- Production. Contract, copy-editing, typesetting, cover design, proofs, ISBN/DOI registration and print.
